Anne Burrell

Anne Burrell is an American chef and culinary instructor known for her work in professional kitchen technique and approachable home cooking. She served as a sous chef to Mario Batali on the television series Iron Chef America and hosted the long-running Food Network program Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, which translated restaurant methods for a home audience. Burrell also co-hosted Worst Cooks in America and appeared on additional Food Network programming, including The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Her cookbook Own Your Kitchen (2013) reflects her instructional approach, offering home cooks a grounding in confident, technique-driven cooking.
